ABSORPTION


Some materials can absorb water.
Some sample of the materials are cotton, papers and cloth. They called absorbents.

Some materials can not absorb water.

For examples, glass, plastics and pebbles. They are called non-absorbent.

Some materials can absorb more water than others.

For examples, cotton can absorb more water than paper.

Things such as sponge and tissue papers that absorb water are useful to us.
